One of the most important traditions in Puerto Rico is the Dia de Reyes celebration. This takes place on January 6 of each year and commemorates the day, which according to the Catholic Church, was the day that the Three Wise Men brought their presents to the Child Jesus who had been born. That day all Puerto Rican children expect gifts. I have the habit of painting a new wise men every year. I started in 2016. These Three Wise Men "Trinidad Boricua" correspond to January 2017.
